TRAINING FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS TO USE THE INFORMATION AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING MATHEMATICS

Abstract
Introduction. The authors actualized the problem of forming the readiness of future primary school teachers of the general secondary education institution to use open resources, information and communication, and digital technologies, to operate with them in their professional activities in the process of teaching junior high school students mathematics. The stages of preparation of future primary school teachers for the use of information and digital technologies at NUS in the process of teaching the content component of the Educational and Professional Program «Mathematics Teaching Methodology» are characterized Purpose. The article aims to reveal the components and characterize the stages of training future primary school teachers to use the information and digital technologies in teaching mathematics to junior high school students. Methods. The methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, comparison, as well as critical analysis of literature sources, were used. Results. As the results of the observation showed, the described organization of teaching mathematics teaching methods increases the motivation of future primary school teachers to study the discipline, develop a sustainable interest in learning, form a desire for self-education, self-development, and the achievement of high academic results, adequate to the requirements of the digital educational environment of the primary level of education. Originality. The authors substantiated and described an original method of training future primary school teachers for the active, pedagogically balanced use of information and digital technologies during developing students' mathematical competencies. The author's methodology involves the formation of practical skills in the application of the specified technologies based on the development of the content of a personal online case, the structure determined by the authors. According to the results of the observation, the described organization of teaching mathematics teaching methods enhances the motivation of future primary school teachers to study the discipline, develops a strong interest in learning, forms a desire for self-education, self-development, and achievement of high academic results adequate to the requirements of the digital educational environment of primary education. Conclusion. The training of future primary school teachers for the use of information and digital technologies in the teaching of mathematics to junior high school students in the process of studying the discipline «Methodology of teaching mathematics» opens up wide opportunities for students to acquire practical experience in organizing the process of mastering the mathematical educational field by modern junior high school students with computer support, expanding the spectrum visual teaching aids, methods, and techniques of organizing students' education activities with the use of computer tools, which ensures high requirements for students' mathematical education.
