TOOLS FOR SUPPORTING THE ACTIVITIES OF BUSINESS ENTITIES IN THE TRANSCARPATHIAN REGION

Introduction. During the period of active hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, almost one in five enterprises ceased all or part of their activities. The internal and external environment of businesses is deteriorating not only in regions affected by active military operations, but also in areas that have traditionally operated or are moving to more «peaceful» areas of the country. Purpose. The article is aimed at identifying effective financial and credit instruments for supporting the activities of economic entities in wartime. Materials and Methods. Research materials: regulatory and legal provision of financial and credit support of economic entities in Ukraine; work of domestic and foreign authors, conducting research in the direction of finding ways and directions of supporting the activities of business entities. The following general methods of research were applied: comparison (determination of indicators of financial and economic activity of economic entities before and during military operations); analysis and synthesis (determination of general trends in the activities of economic entities and their clarification depending on the territorial location). Among the set of applied special research methods it is advisable to distinguish methods of grouping and ranking. Results. The question of the use of financial and credit instruments to support the activities of business entities was studied. A study of the current financial and economic status of economic entities in 2022–2023 and the main problems affecting their activities was conducted. SWOT-analysis of the development of business entities transferred to the Transcarpathian region. It has been substantiated that the most common tool of state support of development of business entities in almost all countries is preferential crediting of their activities. The article analyses regional features of lending under the program «Available loans 5–7–9%». Prospects. In further scientific research, it is planned to more in-depth analysis of the impact of the activities of business entities that moved to the Transcarpathian region on the development of the labour market and socio-economic parameters of the development of the region.
