Topical issues of regulation of the legal status of persons with disabilities

This work is devoted to the analysis of the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities. This sphere is an important function of modern social democratic states. The article discusses the content and procedure for the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities. In modern societies, this concept has been significantly transformed, people with disabilities are no longer considered by society as inferior members. In accordance with international agreements and UN conventions, states undertake obligations to develop and adopt a set of measures for the full inclusion of disabled people in society, removing obstacles to their full participation in all spheres of modern life.
