THE USE OF TARGETED CAPITAL FUNDS IN FINANCING EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF POST-WAR RECOVERY IN UKRAINE AND STRENGTHENING NATIONAL SECURITY

The article is dedicated to exploring the essence of endowment as an innovative long-term charitable instrument, as well as the general principles of its establishment, functioning, and main areas of application. The study examines the key advantages of targeted capital funds and their main types. The traditional mechanism of endowment funds' operation in financing higher education institutions is described in the article. The global practice of creating endowment funds is discussed. The volumes of endowment funds for foreign and domestic universities are analyzed. Certain recommendations are proposed to accelerate the process of expanding the use of endowment mechanisms for financing Ukrainian educational institutions in the context of post-war recovery and strengthening national security.
