Abstract

The article explores current issues of development of transport and logistics companies under martial law and post-war renewal. The purpose of the work was to analyze the state and determine strategic guidelines for the post-war development of transport and logistics companies. The tasks have been set to study the current state of the infrastructure of the transport industry, its gross output and gross product, relationships with other sectors of the national economy and clarify the strategic guidelines for post-war renewal to ensure the efficiency of growth. The factors of development of the transport industry for 2016–2023 are analyzed and systematized. taking into account the volume of industry losses under martial law. It was established that during the analyzed period, the industry formed a high-tech network of transport facilities and structures, gained weight in the international transport system, directly influencing its activities, and in the conditions of martial law it is developing ahead of schedule, laying the foundations for future membership in the EU. According to the analysis of macro indicators, it was established that transport logistics in Ukraine in 2022 received 18,482.7 thousand UAH. losses, and the share of unprofitable enterprises is 31.6%. Accordingly, the level of profitability of the operating activities of enterprises in the industry was 2.8%, lower than the consolidated level for the economy (3.7%), and the profitability of all activities of the industry under consideration was unprofitable β€” 3.6%. accounted for about 4% of gross domestic product (GDP). Using the example of urban logistics and the maritime industry, the impact of martial law on the development of these structural components is assessed. Strategies for the development of the transport industry are analyzed and additions to individual vectors of development in the conditions of post-war reconstruction are proposed. Reserves for increasing the effectiveness of the strategy for management needs are identified. To address the need for adjustments to Strategy 30 during the recovery period, the focus should be on digitalization and its impact on the key factors shaping the future of logistics: customer focus, environmental sustainability, technology and people. To build up the potential of the industry, it is necessary to attract investment in infrastructure development and expand financing, primarily from international donors.
