Abstract

The situation regarding the population economic behavior of Ukraine in the article is analyzes. In particular, the consumer attitudes index, the results of the survey of self-assessment of the financial situation of the population, and the index of expectations of business activity are studied. Their dynamics before and after the full-scale russian invasion confirmed the high level of population and business resilience. However, the continuation of conditions of uncertainty and instability can “wash away” the population's resource and emotional reserves as the basis for ensuring its stability and resilience. Therefore, transformations in the population economic behavior should be more comprehensively analyzed in order to substantiate the mechanisms of its regulation and conversion to an asset of the post-war recovery of Ukraine's economy. In this regard, a sociological survey toolkit is proposed and tested on the example of the Lviv region as a rear region that has the potential to increase the economic activities of the population with a stronger focus on investment goals. The results of the survey are summarized in the transformational trends of the population economic behavior of Lviv region in the conditions of a full-scale war according to the parameters of consumption, savings, investment behavior, as well as the “portfolio” of economic activity and its mobility. The “portfolio” of economic activity reflects a combination of various types of population activity and sources of income. The mobility of the “portfolio” of economic activity of the population reveals its ability to productively combine several types of activities and reorient from one activity to another, to change their structure due to internal development needs and external influences to maintain financial well-being at the required level.
