STATE AND TRENDS OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP ENTITIES IN UKRAINE

The study analyzed current and future trends in the development of investment activities of business entities. Its importance for the economy of Ukraine at different levels of management is substantiated, and the main development priorities are formed. Investments contribute to the formation and strengthening of entrepreneurship and mobilize capital for the implementation of Ukrainian projects. The further strategy and tactics of overcoming the crisis depend on how successfully Ukraine's economy will be integrated into the European Union. The contribution of Ukrainian and foreign scientists to investment research is analyzed and the shortcomings and unresolved issues that require immediate resolution are given. It is substantiated that investments are a guarantee of economic development at any level of management, they include all types of values (property and non-property) that are invested by citizens, legal entities and the state in various objects that provide profit (income) and/ or achieving a social and environmental effect. The amounts of foreign investments for 2021 have been analyzed. State and local investment were also analyzed separately in terms of the current support for the needs of business entities. The article proves that local support for entities is limited, therefore the most desirable form of investment for the country is attracting foreign direct investment, which is defined as «long-term investments of material resources by non-resident companies.» However, a huge obstacle for attracting foreign investment is the risks associated with military actions on the territory of Ukraine.
