Abstract

Introduction. The research problem addressed in the article revolves around the challenges, implications, and opportunities associated with integrating digital technologies into the educational landscape for the purpose of training future designer students. This problem encompasses several dimensions that warrant investigation and analysis, including pedagogical shifts, technological advancements, student engagement, skill acquisition, and the broader impact on design education. Purpose. The purpose of the research in the scientific article «Digital Transformation of the Educational Environment for Training of Designer Students» is to systematically investigate, analyze, and provide insights into the multifaceted process of integrating digital technologies into the realm of design education. The research aims to comprehensively address the various dimensions and implications of this transformation, with the overarching goal of advancing the quality, effectiveness, and relevance of designer student training within the modern educational landscape. Methods. Research methods consist in the comparative analysis and identification of features of design education in Ukraine, creation of pedagogical teaching conditions for forming graphic design specialists of the high professional level. Results. Most educational institutions strive to create favorable conditions for students learning that would meet the growing aesthetic needs of modern society. This causes the high demand in the digital educational environment of higher education institutions. The article is devoted to the description of the concept, components and methods of designing the digital educational environment through the transformation of the educational activities. The importance of developing the educational policy in the field of digital technologies is considered. Originality. At the current stage of the development of design education, the need to educate specialists who are capable of generating creative ideas, creative and competent, can quickly adapt to new technologies and consumer demand, have imaginative thinking, operational modeling and projecting skills is a particular problem for the society. Therefore, it is important to modernize the educational process, ensure quality, create the innovative socio-cultural environment in educational institutions, and increase the level of the educational and methodological support. It is necessary to provide the educational process with the new modern innovative technologies. After analyzing the training programs of the specialty 022 «Design» of several higher educational institutions, the need to find the balance between traditions and innovations in the professional training of future specialists in graphic design was revealed. Conclusion. At the modern stage in design, new design technologies have been developed - computer methods of three-dimensional modeling. Replacing traditional graphic techniques with computer ones has become a logically appropriate process. The introduction of computer systems in design education made it possible to shorten the project execution period, to integrate the design project into the production cycle. The research topic discussed in this article is aimed at influencing the organization of education design, noting how important a role digital aspects of education should play in order to meet modern requirements for the formation of a high-level specialist.
