Abstract

Introduction. The lack of morality in the world has become the source of many contradictions that manifest in our lives. Manifestations of indifference, intolerance, aggressiveness between people are increasingly observed, which makes the process of forming moral values in young children especially necessary in the conditions of martial law. Young children experience war events especially acutely, because war forever destroys their connection with childhood, a period that should have brought a sense of security and safe upbringing, learning and personal development. Children are very vulnerable, they see and understand the world through the eyes of their parents, so you should take responsibility for the formation of moral values in them and know how to prevent the negative impact of current events on the child. Purpose. The new military reality in Ukraine gave rise to the phenomenon of new Ukrainian fiction, which is not only a reflection on certain events, but primarily a realistic depiction of the struggle of Ukrainians for life, their home, land and, above all, for Independence. We see a huge positive role of modern Ukrainian literature in the formation of moral values, as a basis for further moral education of preschool children, we especially emphasize that this process should begin at an early age. Even when a child does not yet know how to speak or walk well, he is already learning everything that his parents have. You can form moral values in a young child only by your own example, using praise, reading «correct» books, creating conditions for the manifestation of moral qualities in children at an older age. Methods. In the study, this question is investigated by means of pedagogical and artistic analysis literature on the researched issue, systematization. Results. A careful analysis of research on the problem raised allows us to state that during the full-scale invasion of the Russian army into Ukraine, many quality books were written for young children. which contain the foundations for the formation of moral values. All these books are about each of us – big and small, about our dreams and fears, strength and pain, anxieties and hopes, about the fact that there is always a place of good and light in the heart. The works are intended for young children, but the writers do not set clear age limits, so even an adult reader will be interested in getting to know the novelties. Conclusion. The works are intended for young children, but the writers do not set clear age limits, so even an adult reader will be interested in getting acquainted with the novelties. Let's not forget that the book is intended for children, and this form is the most suitable for the child's perception of important information and the formation of moral values. The task of parents is to convey what is hidden between the lines. Moral values help establish high standards of social life, which help the development of society as a whole. A child should know what it is to be merciful, honest, fair, kind, sincere, tolerant, etc. To be able to answer the question of why it is necessary to be this way, to act this way and not otherwise. By teaching children to think about their actions, we develop their morality.
