Abstract
Automating the life cycle management of electronic documents plays an important role in ensuring the high-quality and coordinated work of archival institutions and the safety of document preservation. Since today's vector of the management aspect of archival institutions is aimed at introducing innovative methods of document management and data preservation. The main stages of managing the life cycle of electronic documents are provided by: creation or development of new documents; editing documents; modification of documents; joint use of the document by performers; arrangement of documents; saving documents and destruction of documents. The purpose of the work is a generalized study of modern archival systems with the provision of improving the processes of automated management of the life cycle of electronic documents. Determination of effective measures and tools to ensure effective interaction in modern archival systems. The research methodology covers general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization), an analytical approach was also applied in the process of studying and analyzing modern archival systems to identify problems in automating the management of the life cycle of electronic documents. In addition, a systemic approach was applied, namely in considering the problem of managing electronic documents in the context of archival systems as a component of the general system of document preservation and processing. The scientific novelty of the article consists in the analysis and generalized use of modern innovative technologies for the effective automation of management of modern archival systems, modern challenges and opportunities regarding their application in modern archival organizations were also considered, with proposals for new strategies for their solution. Conclusions. The stated provisions indicate the importance of implementing automated management systems to optimize archival processes and ensure high efficiency of the life cycle of electronic documents in the modern information environment.
