APPLICATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT

The article examines the features of the application of information technology in enterprise management. It is noted that today, in an era of constant technological change, many enterprises have fully realized the significant advantages of using information systems in their management processes. It has been revealed that the implementation and effective use of information systems and modern technologies in the field of business management is a real competitive advantage, since it ensures integration and communication of the enterprise with the external environment, promoting more efficient collection and rational processing mechanisms, systematization of economic information, and reduction of response time to external changes, ensuring timely receipt of more effective options for solving management problems, increasing labor productivity, reducing op‑ erating and management costs, facilitating the formation of an optimal development strategy. It has been established that the use of information systems and technologies in the process of enterprise management makes it possible to increase competitive‑ ness, in particular by combining all structural divisions into a single information space, thereby increasing the efficiency of the processes of analyzing the results of financial and economic activities and providing management functions. The advantages of using information technology in enterprise management are highlighted. The features of the use of information technologies at enterprises in different areas of economic activity are revealed. It has been determined that the software provides a wide range of possibilities for organizing the formation, storage and processing of information, develops information technologies for the needs of enterprise management and provides a quick solution to functional problems. It has been established that the imple‑ mentation of information systems is a necessary component for the successful operation of an enterprise in the market. All this must be taken into account in the perspective of further research in the context of improving the information security system at an enterprise in the context of the use of information technology.
