Abstract
Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which is characterized by damage mainly to the lung tissue. This is a very common disease: according to WHO, one third of the world's population is infected with tuberculosis mycobacteria. The variety of forms of pulmonary tuberculosis causes the variability of symptoms. The therapy of this disease is very diverse and complex, but the disease is curable, but treatment takes a long time. Complications of this disease are dangerous and diverse, therefore early diagnosis of tuberculosis and, accordingly, timely treatment is important, which will reduce the risk of complications. One of the medicines used to treat tuberculosis is heparin, which I will consider in this article.
