Abstract

In this paper the development perspectives of the system of the professional training in various higher education establishments with the due attention paid to the evolvement of the competency building approach are being thoroughly scrutinized. The text deals with different modern aspects of the vocational training of specialists working with disabled children on primary, secondary and higher levels. The development prospects of the professional training of specialists who will be thoroughly and extensively prepared to work with disabled children in a higher education institution are being elaborately examined. There was conducted a brief analysis of the educational content that is reflected in educational competence and that enables acquiring the system of knowledge and skills and the traits of character that are necessary for a future specialist. The article represents a logical consecution of the interconnected elements of the professional training of a specialist who is supposed to be able to work in the sphere of inclusive education, and it underlines the significance of the actualization of the effective preparation of specialists to work with disabled children in every direction, that requires considerable enhancement of the educational programs. The changes happening in the modern system of education presuppose not only the rearrangement of the professional training of a specialist working with disabled children, but also the vocational training of qualified teachers who are capable of working in the sphere of inclusion.
