ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC FOUNDATIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS ENTITIES FOR CATTLE BREEDING IN WARTIME CONDITIONS

Entrepreneurial subjects of dairy cattle breeding provide the country's food security potential. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the social, economic and conceptual foundations of the activity of dairy cattle breeding business entities under martial law. The methodological basis of the research was the provisions of system-functional analysis and institutional economic theory. Monographic, abstract methods of systematization of results are used. Research results. In the course of the research, it was established that in 2023 the number of cows decreased by –191.2 thousand cows in farms of all categories; — 30.4 thousand heads at enterprises; –0.8 thousand heads in farms; — 160.8 thousand heads in households. Two scenarios regarding the possible development of dairy farming in 2030 were formed. The need to leave the preferential financing of dairy cattle breeding business entities under the «5–7–9% Available Loans» program as «survival loans» with an expansion of the limits to UAH 130–140 million has been substantiated. and reducing the interest rate to 5%. It was revealed that the primary guarantor of population employment is small entrepreneurship and family farming business. The expediency of applying the organizational and economic principles of the development of entrepreneurial activity in cattle breeding in wartime conditions, the influence of entrepreneurship on the development of rural areas is substantiated. The efficiency of dairy cattle breeding enterprises is characterized. Practical value. Informational and analytical material can be taken into account when developing regional programs for the development of business entities involved in livestock breeding.
