SOCIAL NETWORKS AS A FACILITATOR OF MULTIMEDIA CONTENT DEVELOPMENT FOR FUTURE TEACHERS

Abstract

Introduction. A systematic study of current trends in the field of multimedia content creation contributes not only to the adaptation of educational programs, but also to the development of the necessary competencies for successful professional activity in the modern educational environment. The results of scientific research in this area are the basis for the development of effective educational programs that take into account modern requirements and needs. This contributes to the formation of graduates who are able not only to adapt to changes in the field of multimedia content, but also to actively contribute to the development of the educational process using advanced technologies and methods.Purpose. The purpose of this study is to thoroughly analyze the role of social networks in the context of creating multimedia content for future teachers in the context of active digitalization of education.Methods. The systematization of scientific articles, monographs and other sources on the use of social networks in educational processes and the development of multimedia content was carried out.Results. The study found that social networks play a significant role as facilitators of multimedia content development for the educational process, in particular for future teachers. A significant number of studies and publications confirm the active use of social media in educational processes. This indicates a growing interest in this topic among scientists and educators. The university environment, including Poltava National University, also actively uses social media as a tool for developing and sharing multimedia content for educational purposes. Specific features of social networks, such as the ability to interact with staff and students, contribute to the effective development of multimedia content and help improve the quality of the educational process. Originality. The novelty also lies in the attempt to consider the practical aspect of using social media in the context of the educational process on the example of a specific educational institution - Poltava National University. This allows us to avoid generalizations and provides an opportunity to obtain specific data and recommendations suitable for implementation in a particular university. Conclusion. Thus, based on the results obtained, we can conclude that social media as facilitators of multimedia content development have a significant impact on the educational process, which opens up broad prospects for further research and the use of these tools in educational institutions. Of course, the use of social media is also accompanied by certain challenges, such as the need for digital literacy, the risk of plagiarism and copyright infringement, the need to be critical of information, and the risk of cyberbullying and other online threats.
