PRACTICE-ORIENTED MODEL OF FORMATION OF RESEARCH COMPETENCE OF FUTURE HEADS OF GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

Introduction. The main goal of professional training for future managers of general secondary education institutions is to educate and train highly qualified, professional managers with innovative and creative approaches to management who can actively participate in the development of educational institutions. In addition, these leaders must have the ability to participate in scientific research aimed at developing innovative methods of managing educational institutions. Therefore, the search for ways to improve the process of forming the research competence of future managers of institutions of general secondary education lies in the plane of finding effective models, didactic, organizational and methodological conditions, technologies, methodological approaches, the implementation of which in the educational process will lead to the acquisition by master's students of relevant competencies and program learning results, and will also increase the quality of their research competence formation. The purpose of the article is to develop a practice-oriented model of formation of research competence of future managers of general secondary education institutions.Results. The development of a practice-oriented model for the formation of research competence of future heads of general secondary education institutions was carried out from the standpoint of systematicity. The practical effectiveness and significance of the system approach in the process of developing a practice-oriented model for the formation of research competence of future managers of general secondary education institutions is determined by the extent to which it reflects the researched aspects and contexts of master's studies. Also, at various stages of development, substantiation and construction of a practice-oriented model, we adhered to the main principles of this approach: the principle of integrity, interaction of the constituent parts of the system, clarity, clear definition of structural elements, objectivity, development and structural-functional organization.Originality. The article presents a practice-oriented model of the formation of research competence of future heads of general secondary education institutions, which was developed on the basis of system-activity, practice-oriented, competence-based, technological, resource-oriented, informational, axiological and creative approaches. The model includes methodological, substantive, procedural and diagnostic blocks.Conclusion. The developed practice-oriented model for the formation of research competence of future managers of general secondary education institutions, which is presented by a set of 4 blocks (methodological, substantive, procedural and diagnostic), is characterized by integrity and dynamism. Its various components, such as the purpose, methodology, content, didactic conditions, methods of practice-oriented learning, evaluation criteria, interact with each other to achieve positive results in the formation of the necessary competencies and knowledge, as well as in improving the overall quality of training future managers. The implementation of this model involves improving the educational process of students at the university.
