Abstract
The start of 2000’s also gave a start to the establishment of shopping malls one after another. These gigantic buildings, which receives hundred thousands of visitors every day, also comprises comfortable cinema theatres that are equipped with the latest technology. It became impossible for old cinema theatres to compete with these new ones. The cinema viewers prefer the cinema theatres that have equipment with a more advanced technology. Now, the preference on the film has become of secondary importance. Hence, the historical Alkazar cinema theatre had to bring down its curtains.
