Achieving Psychological Security in Times of Crises and Epidemics through Friday Sermon (Samples of Prophetic Sermons and Contemporary Sermons)

This study shows the role of the Friday sermon in achieving psychological security for Muslims, especially in times of crises and calamities, by presenting samples of the Prophet's sermons, and then extrapolating a number of the Friday sermons during that Corona pandemic to know the extent to which they achieve psychological security. The study used the descriptive, inductive, and analytical approach, and concluded that the Friday sermon, in general, has a significant impact on achieving psychological security for people, and that its role is not limited to preaching only, but also providing solutions. As for the Friday sermon during the Corona pandemic, it contributed to achieving psychological security to some extent, but it had shortcomings, and the study set forth some recommendations.
