Abstract
It is advisable to use Internet technologies in forecasting and planning the activities of travel agencies. The structure of the regional hospitality industry is important for the development of the tourism industry in the Poltava region. It offers accommodation and recreation services for various categories of people. The article proposes a model with a mode of continuous control of orders of tourist services, provides trends in the service market, factors of logistics components and regional features of the tourist market. The article substantiates methodological recommendations and identifies indicators that contribute to improving the efficiency of the logistics component of the region's tourism activity. Scientific approaches to defining the essence of the category of rural «green» tourism and its low-budget types: ethnographic, sports, ecological, sanatorium, and route and cognitive tourism were generalized. The prerequisites, prospects and results of the transition to an improved system of using matrix games involving two players with opposing interests and the random action of «nature» to increase the sale of services are considered. The requirements for determining the optimal strategy using the criteria of mathematical expectation of winning are formulated. Automation of management of tourism enterprises using an information retrieval system will increase the efficiency of the firm by providing tour operators with operational information based on a single database. Record keeping costs will be reduced by automating information processing and simplifying the tour operator's access to the necessary data. The nature of the work of tour operators will change due to the release from routine work and focus on the performance of professionally important duties when using Internet marketing. New methods and forms of conducting tourism business and logistics emerge when mastering the virtual space and taking account of seasonality.
