Abstract
Introduction. Sustainable development involves a balanced combination of economic, environmental and social aspects to meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the opportunities of future generations. The study of economic aspects of nature management in forestry is key to understanding the relationship between the economic efficiency of forestry production and the preservation of ecological and social functions of forest resources. This study is aimed at analyzing the methods of forest resource valuation, pricing models and the impact of economic tools on the management of forest resources in order to ensure their sustainable use. Purpose. Development of ways to increase the role of forestry production in ensuring sustainable development, with a special emphasis on the economic aspects of nature management, which includes an analysis of the relationship between the economic efficiency of forestry production and the preservation of ecological and social functions of forest resources. Materials and methods. A cost-economic analysis was used to assess the economic efficiency of forestry production and its real value. The method allows you to compare the costs of forest management with economic benefits, which contributes to the determination of optimal forest management strategies. System search is an approach that provides a comprehensive study of forestry production as a whole system, taking into account the interrelationships between its various components. This method makes it possible to analyze the influence of various factors on the system as a whole and determine the optimal ways of its development. The method of dialectical combination and development contributes to the development of strategies that take into account dynamic changes in the forestry production system and ensure its sustainable development, including the introduction of the latest technologies, support for research and the implementation of innovative approaches to forest management. The results. Valuation of forest resources is an important tool for understanding their true value, including both the value of timber and the value of indirect services such as climate regulation, water conservation, biodiversity and recreational opportunities. The implementation of the latest methods of valuation and modeling of pricing contributes to the rational use and preservation of forest resources, ensuring their contribution to sustainable development.
