Abstract
According to the law approved dating 12. 11. 2012, the number of the metropolitan municipalities- that was 16, became 29. Therefore, 56 million people which constitutes 80 % of the population of Turkey, will be living in big cities. With this law the city center, the towns and all villages are included in the metropolis, the town municipalities become lower level municipalities and villages transform into a neighborhood. By this law, under the name of in accordance with globalization the accordance of Turkey with the world market will be provided a city-centered structure based on illicit profit and consumption will be formed, the transformation of the fertile agricultual lands into premises will quicken, new areas of illicit profit will be made and this will create a situation against villages. The new adjustments will trigger the migration from under developed, under populated places to big cities.
