MANAGING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN THE CONTEXT OF CURRENT ECONOMIC TRENDS

Introduction. In Ukraine, the agricultural sector has a huge potential. The agricultural sector is associated with resources, natural conditions, qualified specialists and technical capabilities. In this area, development and its effectiveness depends on the available production potential, the chosen management methods, the use of innovative developments and technologies in the production process, the timely acquisition of the necessary data and information, and consumer behavior. The agricultural sector has its own specific features depending on the climatic and natural, territorial, financial, material and production and national conditions of the country's development. In the agricultural sphere, human potential is an important factor in ensuring its development. High-precision positioning mechanisms, automated management systems, remote sensing, drones are able to significantly facilitate human work. The wide application and implementation of innovations is a mandatory element of modern production, the аddressing of social and economic problems of the agro-food sector, which are related to the search for mechanisms to increase the economic indicators of the activity of agricultural enterprises, to provide the population with high-quality organic products. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to reveal the peculiarities of managing the development of the agricultural sector in the context of modern economic trends. Materials and methods. The research materials are the works of Ukrainian and foreign authors who conduct their scientific and practical work in the agrarian and economic sphere. The research used scientific methods: theoretical generalization, formalization, analysis and synthesis, logical generalization of results were used. Results. The article examines the peculiarities of the agrarian industry, the impact of its level of development on the material and social well-being of society, providing the population with food and the necessary raw materials for the processing industry. The essence of managing the activities of agricultural enterprises is determined. Production-technical, organizational and economic unity is important. Internal and external environmental factors affect the activity of agricultural enterprises are outlined. The main problems of managing the development of the agricultural industry in the context of the economy are highlighted. The leading place in the management of production and economic activity is occupied by the functions of marketing, research and development, personnel and quality management, material and technical supply, research, evaluation, communication, motivation, negotiation and management decision-making. The development of agro-industrial production is a complex process that is coordinated with the relevant conditions. An important role is played by the promising development of scientific and technical progress in the agricultural sector and the development of innovative processes in all its segments. The peculiarities of the management of the agrarian sphere in accordance with modern trends in the economy are considered. Discussion. In the future research, we propose to pay attention to the study of mechanisms for regulating the development of the country's agricultural sector.
