Abstract

Magtymguly Fragi is one of the outstanding poets of Turkmenistan, whose works represent the richest layer of national culture. The issue of translating his poetic heritage is related to the need to preserve national identity and artistic form, which requires an interdisciplinary approach that includes linguoculturology, translation theory and literary studies. The article examines the key aspects that arise in the translation of Fraga's poetry: the transmission of unique metaphors, cultural realities and rhythmic poems. The principles aimed at ensuring the adequacy of translation and minimizing the loss of semantic and artistic content are proposed, as well as examples of successful and controversial translation solutions are discussed.
