Abstract
Gilbert's syndrome (GJ) is a hereditary disease characterized by moderate indirect hyperbilirubinemia associated with impaired conjugation of bilirubin in the liver. The syndrome was first described by the French physician Augustin Nicolas Gilbert at the beginning of the 20th century. LV is a benign condition that usually does not cause serious complications, but may require medical supervision and lifestyle correction.
