Abstract

Introduction. Promoting cultural exchange, protecting historical heritage, fostering international cooperation, and boosting tourism and regional economies are all reasons why the development of European cultural routes is important. By joining the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes, Ukraine showed its intention to strengthen ties with nations that share European values, including respect for cultural diversity, human rights, and understanding. Cultural routes are valuable not only because they promote historical, cultural, and natural sites that are significant to our shared European identity, but also because they provide a forum for collaboration amongst those who interact with this heritage on a daily basis, such as museums, research and conservation organizations, local administrations, and territorial communities. Through tourism, educational, and cultural initiatives, the Via Regia route will help promote European values and foster international collaboration.
