Regulatory and legal support for the organization of national-patriotic education of students of general secondary education institutions

The article is devoted to the problem of regulatory and legal support for the organization of national and patriotic education of students of general secondary education institutions. The relevance of the study is stipulated by the need to educate students in patriotism and national consciousness in the context of Russian aggression. The purpose of the article is to analyze the regulatory and legal framework for the organization of national and patriotic education of students of general secondary education institutions in modern conditions. The study uses general scientific methods such as analysis, synthesis, comparison and abstraction. The main legislative and strategic documents adopted during the specified period are considered, including the Concept of National and Patriotic Education, the Law of Ukraine “On the Basic Principles of State Policy in the Field of Strengthening Ukrainian National and Civil Identity” and relevant resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The results of the study demonstrate the intensification of legislative activity in the field of national-patriotic education and the focus of the adopted documents on the formation of patriotism, responsibility and readiness to defend the state. The importance of a systematic approach, integration of patriotic values into the educational process, training of teaching staff and cooperation with the public is emphasized.
