Abstract
The paper considers the publications of the gubernia’s statistical committees. “Adres-kalendari”, “Spravochye knigi”, “Pamyatnye knizhki”, “Trudy” contained not only various reference data, but also rich geographical, statistical, historic-ethnographic and archaeological materials. The author comes to the conclusion that these publications are the valuable sources on Regional History.
