Abstract
The short review of the Russian textbooks of mathematics of the XVIII century, which are the first training aids for students of schools, is provided in the article. The summary of following textbooks is considered: L.F Magnitsky, "Arithmetic" (1703); N.E. Muravyev, "The initial bases of mathematics" (1752); N.G. Kurganov "Chislovnik" (1791); L. Euler "Universal arithmetic" (1768-1769). Algebraic sections of these textbooks are analyzed.
