Abstract

The aim of the article is to show new scientific essentials for foreign language teaching. The author analyses in the article the conceptions of synergetics and virtual reality in the didactic process. We can approach the research of the foreign language teaching from the position of synergetics as a new scientific paradigm and a new world view. Synergetics as ideology derives from the laws of evolution and self-organization and focuses on the discovery of universal mechanisms of self-organization, including cognitive systems, consciousness and subconsciousness. Foreign language teaching must also be organized in the light of virtual reality that is essential for the person`s development because of some factors (information need, recognition need, selfrealization need). On this basis, the foreign language teaching must be connected with synergetics categories of self-development (self-determination, self-expression, self-actualization). Synergetics and virtual reality must be a scientific-philosophical foundation for the development of linguodidactics and new schools in foreign language teaching
