Abstract
Microencapsulated form of metaphos has been studied in comparison with its emulsion. The data of biological and toxicological studies has revealed that microencapsulation increases the duration of insecticide’s action from 2 to 14 days reducing its toxicity for 6-8 times, eliminating teratogenic and embryo tropic action. This allows to assign microencapsulated metaphosfrom the first group according to the hygienic classification (extremely toxic) to the third one (moderately toxic).
