Abstract
The research includes the attempt to analyze the vocabulary of professionalisms in English language, which are in the active usage of Russian?speaking musicians. The main goal of the research is to determine the linguistic tools and methods of assimilation of English terminology by native Russian speakers. Such music sequencers as FLStudio, ProTools, LogicPro and others, as well as music internet forums became the material of the research.
