Methods of linguistic research of the mediatext: the problem of scientific interpretation

The author analyzes the complex of modern methods of medialinguistic analysis ? mediamonitoring method, method of discourse analysis, method of critical analysis, content analysis method, method of linguistic expertise of mediatext, content and logical method of media, method of linguocultural analysis of media and others. The analysis of the principles of linguistic research of mediatexts in the Ukrainian and world traditions, approaches to the methodology of medialanguage's investigation are also given in the article. The attention is paid to the author's interpretation of traditional research methods in modern medialinguistics, special methods of analysis of language in different mediaspheres (Internet, television, radio, advertising, etc.).
