Interconnection of the coping strategies, defense activities and stylistic peculiarities of self-regulation of the future officers of the Security Service of Ukraine

The paper presents results of the empirical research of interconnection of the defense activities, coping strategies and stylistic peculiarities of self-regulation of the future officers of the Security Service of Ukraine. It has been defined that regression and reaction formation mechanisms are connected with regulatory processes only negatively, intellectualization mechanism ? only positively, and other defense mechanisms have multidirectional connections with regulatory processes. The problems solution planning coping is connected with planning, programming and regulatory self-sufficiency, the coping strategies of self-control, admission of responsibility, flights and avoidances are connected only with regulatory processes, and confrontational coping and distancing ? only with regulatory-personal characteristics of cadets. These are only confrontational coping and admission of responsibility among the coping strategies, which are connected with defense mechanisms. The research results may be used as a basis of the corrective-developing events for cadets.
