To the formation of Scientific School of Historians of St. Volodymyr University: Platon Vasylevych Pavlov

The article is analyzing the teaching, research and public work of professor of Russian history P. V. Pavlov in 1847-1859 years, which became the second period of the formation of Scientific School of Historians of St. Volodymyr University, and promoted the creation of a broad outlook of the Kyiv students, their realization of the universal laws of social development, education, critical and systematic method of investigation of the historical process. It proves that the scientist formed his direction of scientific school, which had a brilliant representative I. V. Lashniukov. It is proved that for the Kyiv students P. V. Pavlov was an idol, a respected scientist, a thinker who helped young people become cognizant of their historical mission, communication with whom taught how to love their people.
