Abstract
107 case histories of young patients (less than 45 years) with myocardial infarction were analyzed. The most prevalent risk factors were impaired lipid metabolism, smoking, obesity. Most of the younger patients had no history of coronary heart disease. The most common clinical course of MI was anginous type with macrofocal of depth of damage. The structure of complications and the cause of death of the 1 patient was determined.
