A COMPARISON OF INCIDENCE OF COPD IN PATIENTS EMPLOYED IN AGRICULTURE, INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES, AND CITY RESIDENTS

Abstract
The article presents a comparative evaluation of incidence of COPD in patients employed in agriculture, industrial companies, and city residents according to their gender, age, and COPD incidence structure. COPD was mainly caused by cigarette smoking, harmful conditions at work, and infections. COPD in Ryazan city residents was mainly detected at GP appointment while screening spirometry confirmed COPD diagnosis in those employed in agriculture and industrial companies. According to our study, more young patients suffer from COPD with highest incidence among city residents.
