Abstract
The discriminant models the risk of epilepsy development in juvenile boys and girls, inhabitants of Podillyan region of Ukraine, depending on the peculiarities of computed tomography parameters of liquor-containing brain structures are described and analyzed. It is established that the discriminant level is significantly higher in the models in juvenile boys than in juvenile girls in the respective models as in general group, and in groups of brachycephalic persons. In discriminant models in juvenile boys as well as in juvenile girls in most cases are: the index of the central part of the right lateral ventricle, the distance from the central part of the right lateral ventricle to the inner surface of the skull, the average width of the right hemisphere sulci and the transverse size of the lateral fossa of the brain right hemisphere.
