Abstract
Pamfil Şeicaru, tried in absentia at the beginning of summer 1945, represented for the communist dictatorial regime an obstacle in the way of introducing in Romania the principles of the far-left totalitarianism. Through his writing and his anti-communist articles, which were used as charges against him by the People's Court, he dedicated his activity to the establishment and functioning of prestigious written press institutions that contributed to the forming of political, social, economic and cultural currents, meant to maintain present in Romanians’ conscience the ideal of national unity and the fact that Romanians are part of the European civilization.
