Abstract
Summary. In the experiment on white laboratory rats histological and morphometric study of neurocytes of hippocampal field CA1 was performed after severe thermal injury. It was established that deep burns cause a significant decrease of the numerical density of neurocytes, increase the number of hypo- and hyperchromic cells, the degree of damage depends on the term of the experiment, the most damage of neurocyte and morphometric changes were revealed at the stage of septicotoxemia of burn disease.
