The Issue of the Construction of an Original Perspective of Socialism which has Historical Bases and the Necessity to Evaluate the Threshold that Kıvılcımlı Represented in terms of Turkish Sociology

In this article, the theoretical effort of Hikmet Kıvılcımlı is evaluated with its specifi c aspects and it is discussed in the context of the hundred year’s accumulation of Turkish sociology. Undoubtedly, Kıvılcımlı was a philosopher who was primarily effective in the formation of the Marxist literature in Turkey. There have been certain differences between his History Thesis which includes original aspects and the widely accepted theses of Marxism. Kıvılcımlı’s History Thesis takes part in a position that we can name quite original within the big structure of Marksist theory.
