Abstract
The article raises the question of internal communication of "The Tale of Igor's Campaign" and "The Captain's Daughter" and their genetic affiliation with a common spiritual source, namely, the Holy Tradition. The author proves that these works as the highest demonstration of the national literary tradition undoubtedly must belong to the same spiritual space.
