Abstract
The article describes the problem of innovative approaches to professional training of primary school teachers. Based on analysis of scientific and educational literature the definition of ?Innovation? has been given. The classification of innovations has been presented (according to the object of influence, to the level of outspread, to the innovative potential of new). Successive steps of formation of future teachers' professional competence have been highlighted. The organizational, content and technological innovations have been analyzed. The framework of educational and professional training programs according to the new requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has been presented. The effective forms and methods of future teachers' training have been proposed. Basic competences that shape future teachers in primary school have been proved.
