Abstract
In recent years, the prevalence and incidence of depression and suicide cases in Turkey and all world increases in general. Therefore, each passing day, it should be sought a solution to this disease. In recent years, as secondary to the search for a solution, to examine the relation between some laboratory markers and suicide attempt has gained popularity. In this review, we will discuss relation between suicide attempt and serum vitamin B12 and serum cholesterol levels which are especially started to be investigated in recent years.
