Abstract
Purpose of the work: to verify hypofractionation dose mode of brachytherapy for skin cancer stage 1-2. The evolution of dose fractionation starting with Strandkvist curves has been demonstrated. A radiobiological verification for hypofractionation dose mode considering TDF conception, LQ - model as well as isoeffective modes of fractionation when changing SFD for brachytherapy of skin cancer stage 1-2 has been performed. The given findings allow using hypofractionation dose mode of brachytherapy for skin cancer stage 1-2. We can greatly reduce the duration of treatment by decreasing the total dose rate, remaining the reference (in terms of biology) standard course of fractionation.
