Abstract
The book “The Ilovayskys’ and Tsvetaevs’ families” (content by E. F. Zhupikova) has been issued by the “Novy Khronograf” publishing house in the series called “In first person: History of Russia in memories, diaries and letters“ in 2015. The edition of the book is limited to 300 copies. In the first instance, it will be of in-terest for those who are engaged in the study of life and work of Marina Tsvetaeva - one of the distinguished poets of the ХХ century - and her family who was so generous in producing vivid and gifted personalities. The publication also appeals to those who are studying the work of Marina’s father - an outstanding philologist, archeologist and art historian, the founder and first director of the Museum of Fine Arts named after Alexander III at the Imperial Moscow University (now The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts). The essay “Encounters with Anastasiya Ivanovna Tsvetaeva” featured in the book will attract the interest of those who deal with the studies of life and work of the younger daughter of Ivan Vladimirovich, Marina’s sibling Anastasiya.
