THE AUTHOR'S STYLISTIC DEVICE OF COMICALITY IN THE PROSE OF N.A. TEFFI

The distinctive feature of the prose by N.A. Teffi is a special device of author’s stylistic comicality. The writer shapes some of her works through the ultimate generality and standoffishness, playing an explorer of certain social or biological and social phenomena of the reality. Using the norms of functional styles other than the literary style gives these novels parodistic traits which highlight the role of humorous effect of such texts.
