Abstract

Muslims have been occupied with issues relating to the relationship between themselves and the People of the Book before others. Muslims have been much interested in those provisions of the Quran that are related to that issue. The research aims at clarifying a brief discussion based on those verses in order to elucidate that relationship, especially the whole world’s nations are taking support on a fragile stick. Thus, whenever a tragic event occurs in their country, they hasten to accuse Muslims with terrorism, consider that they are not qualified to live peacefully in this world, and that their religion exhorts them to kill people. Consequently, the researcher desired to deeply enter the investigation. This paper adopted a descriptive and an analytical approach through mentioning what Quran mentions in this regard, and then does a required analytical study until it reaches a goal that entails results. The research concluded with several results: 1. All nations did not experience real justice except under Islam and Muslim rule. 2. Islam does not force people to embrace it. 3. Our real conditions are obvious. The wise should therefore not incite all people against the Islamic nation through baseless arguments. 4. Muslims must understand that the world does not entirely belong to us alone, therefore, we must live in peace with others without any one violating the other.
