Abstract
The article substantiates the urgency of the problem of raising the level of pedagogical culture of modern parents. Reveals the essence of pedagogical culture of parents, characterized by its main components. Analyzes the mistakes of parenting children, the most important of which is the inability to understand the caus- es of the child's behavior, ignorance of age-specific and typological peculiarities of children. Describes the role of schools in psycho-pedagogical education of parents and the means to solve this problem. Group methods of work with parents are seen as model of Group Advisory work with parents. Examines the experience of psycho- logical counselling of the parents. In particular, the article reveals the methods and principles of work with par- ents, organized the American child psychotherapist Dzhajnot H.Dzh
