Abstract
The choice of the cluster's direction for regional studies is conditioned by the fact that at present the innovation economy is the economic system, functioning on the basis of enterprise's networks, because just this model provides the innovation cooperation between specialists of different scientific and technical branches, organizations of different size (big, medium and small ones) as well as between groups of companies of different kinds of economic activities. European experiences prove that the innovation processes' activization in the economy and, consequently, the formation of competitive advantages of economic regions can be supported with the formation and functioning of cluster type forms.
