Abstract
Bipolar disorder can occur in children and adolescents. Prevalence of early onset bipolar disorder is rather rare. Studies have reported an incidence of 0.1%. In this case report, we present a case of early onset bipolar disorder where dissociative (conversion) symptoms were associated with mania. The presence of dissociative symptoms in bipolar disorder has been reported in the literature.
